This illustration I found at www.welcometohr.com & it's made by Damien Weighill. It's a small illustration out of the video he illustrated which was co-directed and animated by Stephen Wake. Here's the video.
His way of illustrating linka looks like the artwork of The devil & Daniel Johnston Poster. (image below)
and it kinda reminds me of my holiday in liverpool and leeds with my friend Nikki. Liverpool is such a nice place, and the people are so friendly. Despite the fact that it was raining when we got there, and it was only sunny for one day, we loved it.
They have these cute little coffeecorners where people decorated everything themselves, the chairs are all diffrent and the food is amazingly fresh and homemade. It gives you a nice holiday feeling and i definately want to go back.
While we were at the cavern (you know, the beatles?) we met this dude whom nikki really seemed to like. And we had a long chat about different subjects, while he was walking us back to the hotel. I asked the guy if he had the typical liverpoolish accent, and he started to laugh. that word was used many times after that. (we met again)
After our stay in Liverpool for four days, we took the train to Leeds to stay there for another five. How much I enjoyed watching emo's and goths all coming together to have a nice hangout, I don't think I would go back to that place again.
(and I want to thank adam for making our trip more easy; we met him at schiphol airport and asked the guy for a light, we had a little chat and before we knew, we were on the same damn plane! When we got off, he gave us the little white bag where nauseos people throw up in. And he had written all kinds of cool places to go to and hang out. The heading was saying: 'cool places and hangouts for real rockchicks!'
And after our flight he payed for our lunches! It was so amazing because at first I thought he wanted nasteh.. but he didn't.
Nikki is the only friend with whom i've had real adventures! It's so crazy!
